The Egyptian group for Energy in buildings and Environmental design Research (EEER), the official representative of international building performance association in Egypt (IBPSA-Egypt) was very much pleased to host the first conference of building simulation in Egypt, BSCAIRO2013 under the name building simulation; towards sustainable and green built environment. As EEER is interested in the fields of environmental design, with its many interdisciplinary fields and simulation tools, it aims to publish these concepts both on the academic and real practice levels.
