Building Simulation Cairo 2019
Simulation for Sustainable Built Environment
Based on the success of BSCAIRO 2013 event, it is a proud to bring another BUILDING SIMULATION conference to you BSCAIRO 2019. The conference will be held in Cairo, Egypt during November 28-30, 2019. BSCAIRO is the premier Building Simulation conference in Egypt and Middle East, providing a forum for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, experiences and methods in the broad research field of environmental design. BSCAIRO 2019 will be hosted by the American University in Cairo.
Fact telling, if global energy consumption is about 50% used in buildings, there is no way to continue constructing buildings just to accommodate people without consideration to sustainability. Approaches such as coupling outdoor-indoor environmental performance associated with climate change scenarios to predict future urban forms, building designs and sustainability measures in terms of occupant and pedestrian comfort, carbon emissions and energy consumption have to be in the core of designing our built environment; i.e. simulation for sustainable built environment.
Registration for Conference Attendee and Workshops is now EXTENDED and ONSITE registration is available.
BSCairo 2019 proceedings will be submitted for proposed indexing by SCOPUS.
Selected papers will be submitted for proposed publication with Journal of Building Performance Simulation, JBPS.
